Tigithi primary school is in Matanya/ near Nanyuki/ near Mount Kenya. 

The openning of the new classrooms with the donation from our partner organization Shedlin Children’s Foundation e.V. in Nürnberg was in 2009. We have managed to construct six permanent classrooms despite all the challenges.

The children are now enjoying the condusive learning atmosphere with beautiful buildings. We have played a great role in a child development in this school and many more in Kenya.

In addition, K.I.D.I. has taken the responsibility in supporting of an orphan, or a child from a poor family, or a handicapped child, or gifted children each year from Tigithi primary school.

The contruction of JESHUA REHABILITATION UNIT to accomodate the children with mental and physical dissabilities around the area of Matanya. 

The construction of a cultural hut for the tales telling. Intergrating the new and old generations before the things falls apart in the community of Matanya. The old people will have a chance to teach about our cultures, beliefs and traditions.
